Zero Balancing, or ZB, is an effective mind-body therapy that balances the physical structure with the energetic framework of the body. ZB focuses attention on specific joints of the skeleton that conduct and balance forces of gravity, posture, and movement. Restrictions in these joints refer tension and holding patterns into the surrounding tissues and affect the overall health and well-being of an individual. An experienced ZB practitioner palpates these structures with a gentle touch or traction, and applies a brief stimulation, or fulcrum, with the finger tips into the stuck areas. Once introduced, fulcrums create a point of balance around which the body relaxes and reorganizes. The practitioner pauses briefly after introducing fulcrums to allow the body to sink deeper into a healing state of relaxation.
ZB can be used to address any type of chronic pain or stress associated with the body including:

During a typical ZB session, a client is supine on the treatment table, wearing comfortable clothes. Sessions run about 50 minutes and pressure is light to moderate, always within a client’s tolerance.
