After practicing for several years, Patti enrolled in the 200 hr. Yoga Alliance approved in depth teacher training program at the Yoga Loft in Bethlehem PA under the direction of Carrie Morgan & Jessie Thompson. Patti completed the program in May 2013 and loves to share her love of yoga with students, who like Patti want to enhance their lives on and off their mats by experiencing a safe, fun, and well-rounded practice. Patti continues to further her practice attending workshops and yoga events. Patti has trained and received certifications in Restorative Yoga with Judith Curiel, Balanced Athlete with Johnny Gillespie and PIYO.

"Yoga is the perfect opportunity to be curious about who you are." Jason Crandell
When Brenda started practicing yoga in 2001, it started off as a hobby to enjoy time to herself. As a single mother, she rarely had time alone. Brenda fell in love with yoga immediately. Although she had no idea what yoga was truly about she knew she felt amazing leaving her first class. One thing that touched Brenda was that yoga is all about individual improvement and is not a competitive practice.
An instructor of Brenda's taught her that wherever you are in a posture is where you are supposed to be. What a relief to not be under any pressure! As her practice went on, she started to become interested in learning more about yoga. Brenda's quest for knowledge was opened by asanas which taught her yoga philosophy and gave her spiritual growth.
In 2004, Brenda started her instructor training course at YogaLife Institute, located in Devon, PA. She finished the course in 2005 after completing the required 225 hours. In May of 2014 she completed her 500 hours through YogaLife Institute. In November of 2016 Brenda finished her Yoga Therapy Certification through YogaLife Institute. Brenda is a Reiki Master/Teacher. She is registered through the Yoga Alliance.
“When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds; your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great, and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you everdreamed yourself to be.” Patanjali

"Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self."
Jim, a local resident, has been practicing yoga since 1974. His path includes time spent practicing asana and meditation in Nepal, and yoga teacher certification with Kripalu Center. After receiving teacher certification Jim has taught almost two thousand classes at studios, schools, in parks and private homes.
Jim's yoga traces its lineage to the Pashupata path. A typical class will include centering, breath, intention, chant, warm-up, posture, flow and relaxation. We offer the following suggestions for an optimum yogic practice: bring a mat(some available) extinguish all cellphones. Arrive ten minutes early. Arrive with a light stomach. Wear comfortable clothing designed for exercise. Bring a belief in a better you.
Jim says "My yoga teacher once said If you want to learn, teach. She was right. I enjoy learning as well as I enjoy sharing what I've learned. My intention or goal as a yoga teacher is to share the gift of yoga with beginner and intermediate practitioners. Through our practice together we will build a strong foundation from which we can honor our bodies and our inner wisdom."
"It doesn't matter if things aren't perfect. My practice is my time to feel alive, loved and free."

Aly’s yoga practice started seven years ago and she has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the community that has emerged both on and off the mat. She decided to deepen her practice by taking Yoga Tree’s first 200 Hour Yoga Alliance approved Teacher Training under the direction of Elle Kaplan. She looks forward to continually expanding on those teachings, sharing them with students, while also growing with the studio and community.
Aly wants people to be able to come to their mats freeing themselves from the judgments they may have placed on themselves or the judgments felt from their environment. Her goal is for students to feel comfortable, so that they may focus on the proper alignment each pose. She believes if you put forth the effort to set the right foundation, you are then ready to settle into the ease of each pose, ultimately opening you up to make the mind body connection. Aly’s wish is that with time and trust, students will feel the same joy she has felt learning how yoga goes beyond the mat. She is a student of life guiding students to be true to themselves.
"Yoga is like music; the rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind, and the harmony of the soul create the symphony of life." ~B.K.S. Iyengar
Jennifer is passionate about the overall lifestyle that Yoga embodies;
as spoken of by Yogi Bhajan...a comprehensive lifestyle that allows the radiance of the soul to
shine in every facet of life.
Jen fell during a challenging 10 mile trail run which caused a shoulder injury that required surgery. (Of course she finished the race!)
That turn of events sparked her desire to learn posture modifications that allowed her to keep her yoga practice vital throughout the recovery.
Her desire to share those techniques with others, eventually led to her obtaining a 200-hour YTT certification through The Yoga Loft of Bethlehem in 2012.
Jen aspires for her students to share in the magnificent wonder of the human body and its many layers of flowing energy; in knowing that each breath and every day is a gift.
In her classes she encourages the exploration of movement through acceptance, discovery, laughter and everything in between!
Sharing in gratitude from her studies as a Holistic Health Practitioner, Sound Therapist and Reiki Practitioner.
In her free time you will find her outdoors among her wildlife friends, perhaps you will hear a gong on the wind or a didgeridoo serenading the birds.
"Our lives are not our own. We are bound to others, past and present. and by each crime, and every kindness, we birth our future. -Namaste"
A mother, a wife, and a lover of life. Taking a playful approach to life, she has a passion for all things. Jenni is a true believer that Yoga is a practice of every second, of every day.
Jenni was introduced to the wonders of esoteric teachings by her parents and was immersed in meditation as a child. When Yoga found her and led her down the path of inward exploration, she didn't look back.
Jenni's classes are a mixture of an uplifting atmosphere, with a true intent to feel, and observe. Focus on breath awareness and alignment are big staples, while intertwining the deeper focus that our true practice requires. Meditation is never rushed nor ignored, and it is to be expected to practice Pranayama and/or Mantra. With a passion for the quicker, deeper asanas as well as the stillness and silence, Jenni enjoys offering a mix of classes. Vinyasa/Hatha, Restorative, Gentle, Beginner's, Meditation/Mantra, and Yoga Nidra are her favorite offerings and practices.
She will always be a student of Yoga and Meditation. Jenni has acquired her 200 Hour YTT Certification, Reiki II Certification, and merged it with her passion of leading a healthy, compassionate, and spiritually driven life. Jenni has acquired well over 100 hours of continued education, and is also on the journey of her 500 Hour YTT Certification, as well as taking her 200 Hour training for a second time.
Rarely finding her without a smile, she will most likely be outdoors, cooking, teaching about Essential Oils, or spending time with her family when she is "off the mat." Connecting with your inner child and finding the joy and love in all things, is the best way to feel gratitude and to BE happiness.

JoAnne Amoroso began her 300 Hour Teacher Training with YogaDharma in 2014, after having been a devoted practitioner of yoga for a decade. As an Open Water Scuba Diver, PADI Divemaster & Rescue Diver, she found that scuba diving and yoga were similar in the fluidity of breath & movement. “The peacefulness you find underwater, surrounded by nature in an environment that is at times dangerous & foreign, is exactly what we can discover within ourselves by accessing mindful breathing, especially in times of stress and turmoil.”
JoAnne’s classes are Vinyasa & Hatha based, with an emphasis on the physical asanas and restorative meditation. She teaches with a nurturing & encouraging spirit, embodying the philosophy that yoga is empowering for both the body and soul.
JoAnne resides in Doylestown with her husband Michael in a restored historic Bucks County farmhouse. When she’s not teaching or taking classes, she loves traveling the world, spending time outdoors, being in the water and volunteer work with local animal rescues.

“ You can never cross the ocean unless you have the courage to loose sight of the shore.” André Gide
Amber began her yoga practice with her husband when they came back from their honeymoon as something fun to try and do together. After her first class she was immediately drawn to the practice and began to attend all different classes. Progressively seeking new levels, and learning as much as she could. She fell in love with how the practice is yours, what you make it and its continuous growth.
Believing that everything happens for a reason and exactly when it should be, as if by design, yoga teacher training was proposed by whom she considered as her very first yoga mentor and positive influence, Diane Goode. Amber knew that she needed to share her love for yoga with others and all the positivity that it can bring to the world. She completed her 200hr YTT in December 2017 at Yoga Tree studio under the direction of Elle Kaplan.
Ambers love of the water and outdoors made her realize she wanted to also teach SUP yoga. She completed her SUP Yoga teacher certification in 2017 through Stoked Yogi under the direction of Melanie Smith. She loves being able to bring together the physical aspect of yoga with the natural environment being outdoors and the peace and calming aspect of the water.
Amber wants to share with others how the physical aspect of yoga can make you stronger and empowered and the mindfulness and mediation can bring you a deeper Spiritual connection.
When Amber is not practicing or teaching you can find her with her husband, Marvin, cooking/baking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
“I’ve come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that’s as unique as a fingerprint – and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard, and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you.” – Oprah Winfrey

I found yoga after my son was born in the form of exercise to help lose baby weight. The more I practiced, the deeper I climbed down the rabbit hole. After losing my mom in 2012, I needed yoga more than ever. I continued to find my way onto my mat, making time for it almost every day. I reached a point where I knew one day I wanted to teach, I wanted to share my love and passion, and what it had done for me with others. After researching into training programs, I found Dana Hot Yoga. Immediately felt like home. Throughout training I taught at Retro Fitness, which turned out to be an amazing tool. With everything we learned, I took that with me to my classes.
Yoga changed my life. In teaching yoga I get to witness miracles. I watch as my students grow and become more confident in their practice as they challenge themselves. I hope that I can bring the peace, love, and joy yoga has given me to others.
